Baptist Health Add New Board Members
Jacksonville -

Jacksonville – Baptist Medical Center Beaches, Baptist Medical Center South, Wolfson Children’s Hospital and the Baptist Health Foundation have added new board members and officers. They are as follows:
 
Baptist Medical Center Beaches Board of Directors
Howard C. Serkin, principal and senior advisor to the Business Valuation and Heritage Capital Group. Serkin lectures extensively on varied financial topics. In 1987, he became the first executive-in-residence and visiting professor for the University of North Florida’s (UNF) College of Business Administration. He continues to serve as executive-in-residence and executive professor for the college, as well as serving as a member of UNF’s Board of Trustees.
 
BaptistMedicalCenter South Board of Directors
Kristi Bageant-Epperson, president for the Jacksonville Citi site and state officer for Florida, responsible for community and government relations, site work environment, and the overall culture for more than 4,800 employees. She also is the head of Network Management for Citibank North America. In this role, Kristi is responsible for the day-to-day management of branch operations, network strategies, overall network and capacity planning across Citibank’s 1,000+ branches, communications, training and the overall customer experience for CBNA.
 
Richard Myers, MD, a Baptist Health gynecologist and past chief of staff, Baptist South. Dr. Myers is affiliated with North Florida Obstetrical & Gynecological Associates, P.A., serving as its president from 2002-2004. He is a member of AmericanCollege of Obstetrics & Gynecology; American Society for Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology; Duval County Medical and OB/GYN Societies; North American Menopause Society; Christian Medical Dental Society; and American Urogynecologic Society.
 
Wolfson Children’s Hospital Board of Directors
J. Malcolm Jones, Jr., Jones serves as president and chief executive officer of JMJ Capital. Previously, he was senior vice president and chief financial officer of the St. Joe Company; and president and chief executive officer and vice chairman of the Board of Directors of Florida Bank. Jones also serves as vice chairman of Florida Capital Group’s Board of Directors; chairman of the Trust Committee of the North Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America; and on the Florida Board of Managers of The Nemours Foundation.
